Today's fashion feature comes from the very gorgeous Miss Kara Pegg from Unusual Form; Kara has awesome taste and mixes vintage with everyday trends to create fantastic outfits:
Do you prefer designer, highstreet, or vintage?
I wear a mix of mainstream and vintage/thrifted clothing. These days I’m trying to buy more vintage/thrifted items and less brand new items. I think that shopping second hand is better for the environment (not to mention my wallet).
What forms your basic daily outfits?
I usually go for a three part outfit (when it’s not so darn hot).
1. Topper (Blazer or Cardigan)
2. Blouse
3. Bright Pencil Skirt or Skinny Jeans
Do you prefer brights, neutrals, or darks?
Definitely brights. I might actually go overboard with color and pattern sometimes. I definitely go against the norm for architects which is dressing in all black.
Where do get your fashion inspiration?
Mostly from other bloggers. So of my favorites are Tulip Louise, 26 and Counting, Eclectic Flair, Miss Vinyl Ahoy, The Other Emily, and Watch Me Dress.
If you were stranded on a desert island, which 3 accessories would you take have with you?
A big bangle bracelet in gold, a vintage pendant necklace, and a brown leather belt. Unless we’re talking about a literal desert island in which case I would like a big hat, sunglasses, and a bottle of SPF 50.
What are your top 3 outfit posts from your own blog?
2. Double Dots
3. To the Maxi
I can't imagine that choosing a top post from your own blog is easy; I think my top post of Kara's is probably Call to Arms for Wardrobe Freedom; which is talking about trophy pieces.... we all have them, I think I definitely need to expand my summer wardrobe into winter a little more this year.
A huge thanks goes to Kara for this awesome feature; and her amazing wardrobe. We arrived back last night so I'll stop by in the next 3/4 days for a quick update but don't forget Pinterest Sunday.
love, V xoxo
