Creativity Boot Camp - Day 2: PICNIC

~Happy Monday all (again)
~My 2nd post in 1 day... it's not like me..... if you're looking for my Scrap Tiffany or Design Dollies reveals scroll down to the next post.

~So today is Day 2 of the Creativity Boot Camp, and the journal prompt is:

Do you shy away from calling yourself an artist? If so, what do you think makes someone else an artist and not you? What are some ways that you can start today to outwardly reflect your inner artist? Name three people who you would be comfortable sharing your creative work and projects with.

~I don't call myself an artist, I love to create but I just don't look at myself as an artist as such, maybe a creator or a maker..... sometimes a scrapbooker or a crafter. For me an artist is someone who went to art school or has an amazing talent. Do I think I have talent? Sometimes I do but othertimes I'm not as sure. I think outwardly reflecting my inner artist is difficult, I need help with that one!!! I think I shall start calling myself an artist, not a creator or any of those others things.... LOL, I do create art and I love doing it. 3 people... well I kind of share my creative work with lots of people through my blog and through various design teams and forums.

~Ok the random word prompt for today is PICNIC...... I had a think about this and this is what I've come up with:
~What do you think?? I'm quite pleased with it as a piece of art, and I feel I could do a bigger version of it. I decided to not do something overly obvious for this, and found this perfect bear stamp that worked for the job. Very nursery rhyme!!!!!

~I'm so excited to see what tomorrow's prompt is, so much fun!!!!

Your art piece turned out great! I'm with you on the artist thing. I don't think of myself as artist...but why shouldn't I! Perhaps talent has nothing to do with it as that is subjective anyway.

Fabulous ATC! You've given me an idea for my day 2 photo, as I was really struggling to think of something!

I'm going to go and do it now.

And I really relate to what you've written about the "artist" thing.

Vicki, your artwork is beautiful, without doubt you ARE an artist!
I find it incredibly difficult to call myself an artist too although hopefully it will be easier after this.
Glad to have met you through CBC!

Very cute! I'm liking some of the less traditional takes on the prompt today, although there are many lovely picnic baskets out there. LOL!

You're definitely an artist - that would great as a canvas on a child's bedroom wall.
Thank you again for my blog prize

Very cute!!! I agree that I didn't want to do something too obvious, and I think you met your goal. Nice work!

How clever ATC's, I wanted to do scrap pages but as I work full time I knew it was too ambitious. I love your idea though.
