Proud Mummy Moment, Sorting and Layouts - Old and New

~Evening all,
~Well it's been a quiet few days here, just been scrapping and organising Rosie to go out (more of those in a bit). Still sore, and have been back to the doctor's, who said whiplash takes a while to heal and has given me some physio exercises, which is definitely working!!! I've been off college again this week, as I haven't been sleeping well and just been too sore..... really hoping to go back next week tho. Before moving on to this week's going-on's I just want to take the opportunity to thank you all for all the lovely messages in the last few weeks, it's really helped keep me going - so THANK YOU!!!!

~So firstly, the proud mummy moment.... as you know I've had Rosie both chipped and collared in the past few weeks, so she can be ready to go outside. So today was her first adventure - she's been out 3 times today and I am very proud of her - because she came back all 3 times all by herself. Here are some pics of her first adventure................

~Here she is with Smudge, batting him out of her way, because he dared to get to close LOL, she does get a bit grumpy!!!!
~And here she is again........... doesn't she look happy???
~Next, today I sorted out my scrapping albums, I have about 10 now. My A4 and 12x6 sizes just contain all of the layouts of those sizes, but my 12x12 are all in catogory specific order..... very organised!!! I'm glad I got it done because I've been meaning to for ages...........
~So while sorting out my layouts, I came across some older layouts that I still love and thought I'd share them.........

~Self Portrait
~I took these photos when I did a photo course at the beginning of the year, and I used glimmer mist for one of the first times. I was also really loving sassafrass when I did this...........
~Jazzing
~This is a photo of Jay from last year, when we had our 80's make up night. I loved all the textures of this layout and I liked the balance of it!!!
~Utterly Adorable You
~And lastly, this is one of the ones I did when my style was changing, of my friend's daughter, Abigail, I created this with Crate Paper Kaitlin - it was my first encounter with crate paper and I've loved the ranges since!!!!

~And here are my few new ones, I've really enjoyed scrapping this week and have created 2 of my favourite layouts in a while. So here they are.........
~Daniel
~I used lots of embellishments to create this, and no patterned paper. I used an element sticker from Lime Rickey, dotty ann, chipboard, an old measuring tape, a clip and raffle tickets. And I used glimmer mist to create a funky look for the cardstock.............

~New Glasses
~I used Basic Grey Sugared, lots of chipboard, some buttons, pins, thickers, a clip and a raffle ticket... ooh and some BG opaline!!! I had ALOT of fun with this one, especially creating the folded corner - which looks quite effective, it is actually stuffed with tissue paper to keep the chunkyness there!!!! LOL.............
~I've not got much on over the weekend, I'm off my mum's tomorrow to help sort out her computer and I'm waiting on emails from a few Design Teams, so wish me luck. I have learned in the last year that different people are looking for different things when it comes to DT's so I don't take it personally anymore when I don't get it!!!! I am doing a guest design team spot in January for look out for that. I'm going now, I'm watching One Tree Hill and I should be resting my neck and back. I hope you all have a good weekend and I'll be back next week with the layout I'm currently working on - it's lots of colour and some chipboard gears.
~love, Vicki xx

Embarrased to be so far behind with you. Hope you're feeling less bruised and whipped now Vicki, horrid experience. As for your LOs, I love em all..isn't it interesting to see your style sort of emerge; mine is dicated by papers and trend, I have no original thought! And good luck for college, if you weren't so far away, I'd be a willing model.
