GYOT - In the beginning.......

Happy Thursday all,
Welcome to Grow Your Own Thursday!!! This is one of my new features, and a fun one - I'm excited to see how my little seedlings grow over the summer.
I haven't planted any sort of vegetables or herbs except cress, and to be honest that's relatively easy, I decided i wanted a little bit of a challenge. So I bought an orange pepper plants; a cherry tomato seed kit and a chive seed kit - that was 2 weeks ago.

I now have about 16 cherry tomato seedlings; it was very exciting seeing the first one and they grow so much each day:
My pepper has grown about 2 inches maybe, and is looking good. I'm not really sure what to expect with this plant:
My chives are looking good too, I planted 100 seeds and I think about half of them have become seedlings so far, but there are tiny ones coming up through the soil everyday so we'll see:
I am not a gardener, at all - infact I hate it!!! I do like planting things, and I quite like trimming hedges but I hate weeding, mowing and all those annoying little jobs. But I am quite enjoying watching my veggies grow, and I am super excited to watch them over the summer.
If you are a new follower here or you've visiting from I Just Might Explode or I Go By Katie - welcome, and I hope you enjoy stopping by here.
I'll be back tomorrow with Girl Crush Friday AND a super exciting feature on Saturday.
love, V xoxo

It is fun and exciting to see something that you have planted come to life and grow.
Good luck.

I've only ever grown cress as well (at school) and have killed the few plants I've tried to keep. However, I'm planning on growing a few windowsill herbs when I get my new place sorted and will be stopping by here for inspiration. Love the photos.
