Back to 18!!! (and creative?)

Happy Tuesday all,
I have a few things to share today - including ACTUAL scrapping.
Firstly tho, back in November we lost one of our cats - Buffy sadly passed at the age of 15; she was a beautiful cat and is missed:

We did decide when Buffy passed that we wouldn't get any more cats.... haha!! Anyone who knows us, knows that would never happen - and so we rescued Toto; isn't he beautiful?:
He has settled in really well, and the other cats? Well most of them are accepting of him but, as usual, there are a few who are a little unsure!!! So we're back up to 18 for now; and it feels good.

On Saturday I went to the crop; it was a really good one - we laughed and chatted alot and made some plans for the coming year; i'm excited for our future. I did manage to do 3 layouts in between the laughing so here they are:

The Vows

I used the Pink Paislee Parisian Anthology papers - they are absolutely beautiful - and I have to admit I cut the framed piece out first and had NO idea what I was doing with the rest of the page - but i'm very happy with how it turned out; I haven't done anything in such pale colours before - I really enjoyed it though and I will try it again; ooh I also used some maya road butterflies that I painted and coated in shimmer chalk. This is us attempting to say our vows without crying (that worked LOL):
Enjoying Life

I used an older Scarlet Lime kit for this one of our flower girls playing with Kristofer just before the wedding; admittedly it's not one of my favourite layouts but I'm still sharing it because you learn from these things right?:

Steampunk Beauty

Oooh for the love of Graphic 45 (and a little maya road); this is my beautiful wife on our honeymoon and is one of my favourite photos of her:

It feels like way to long since I've scrapped, and I'm really enjoying it; I'm hoping to get some more done in the next week or so as I have lots of albums on the go and I have to finish my December Daily.
I'm off for the moment as Robbie wants me to play with his lace-up set. I'll be back tomorrow with my WIP Wednesday.

Loves, V xxx
