It feels like forever since I've blogged, but obviously it's been just 10 days. In that time I've had a wedding, and a honeymoon. I am now Mrs Vicki Yelland-Browning - still waiting on the official name change but I'm using it anyway.
Anyway this post is the first of many wedding posts - we're still waiting on some photos coming in but here are some I stole from Facebook.
This is our uber-amazing black and ivory cupcake tower, made by the amazing Jane Hewitt and her mum, Christine:
Isnt it fantastic? We had diamonds all around the cakes, and the cakes had edible glitter on them - and I have to say, they tasted AH-mazing.This is me with my 3 sisters, our bridesmaids on the day:
They all chose such different dresses, but they also all looked gorgeous - I am so proud to say they are my sisters.Me with my 5 nephews:
They all wore the same kilt, and looked so cute. From left they are Robbie, Oscar, Jamie, Kristofer and Daniel. This is my 2nd favourite photo from the day - and I'm so glad it came out so well.This is my favourite photo, I can't remember what we were laughing about but this is me with my beautiful new wife:
It's a very happy photo of us, taken when we weren't even paying attention to the camera - those are always my favourite type of shots, to be in and to take!!!And lastly, a reception shot:
We didn't have a super-busy reception but it was everything I wanted it to be..... it was fun, the music was great and guests were awesome!!!!! This is me and Lisa, attempting to do an interpretive dance to Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody, I'm not really sure why - I'm blaming alcohol right now!!!!So that's the first wedding post, I'll post some honeymoon photos later in the week AND more wedding pics at the weekend - we get our memory card back on Saturday so I'm excited to see how the photos turned out. I'll be cropping this saturday too, so hopefully I'll have some pages to share next week.
