Catch-Up

Happy Thursday all,

I hope everyone had a fantastic christmas, I've had a bit of a new look (well my blog anyway) - this is for a few reasons, but mainly because i have sponsors!!! I haven't done much in the last week or so - I've had the stupid flu, right over christmas - AGAIN!! I still feel pretty lousy but I'm looking forward to 2011....... trying new things, starting my OU course and just getting on with life!!! We did have a good christmas - and our usual family party on Boxing Day which was great. This year we decided to get a Wii, sewing machine and Ipod between the 3 of us.... but I also got some yummy papers, fabric and my Mum got me some scrummy wool - so I shall be knitting some fabby things for a while.


Today my MIL and I hit the sales - they werent' great but I don't think our flu filled ways helped..... we did get some more fabric tho (just have to figure out the sewing machine now), I got a circular knitting needle, a pattern and some more wool. We also got a rotary cutter. I'm excited to get started on making things.


My OU course starts in about 6 weeks time - I'm a little nervous but so excited too. I love studying and I'm hoping we get to do some projects - I'm such a project geek.... it's a little sad I'm afraid.


In about 2 weeks time our friends Neil and Caroline are getting married - so Jay and I are headed down south for their wedding - I'm not even sure what to wear to a wedding. I've only been to 1 and that was mine....... HA!! I'm sure I will figure something out.


In other news - the boys are doing good, although they've both had flu......... they loved christmas and I just had to share this photo on my blog, they are so in love with music just now so we got them a trumpet, a saxophone and a microphone:

I think that's me for now, I'll be back soon with a new years post. We're having a quiet one, with my nephew Jamie coming to stay - so I think it will be playing on the Wii for at least some of the time...... I'm loving Just Dance!!!!
