~Wow it's been quite a week, and I'm so tired!!! I'll sleep well tonight. I'm still on the diet, off to get weighed tonight so I thought I'd share this recipe with you today, for Chocolate Scan Bran Cake, it's just 9 syns for the WHOLE cake!!!
Ingredients
5 Scan Bran
3 beaten eggs
1 level tbsp golden syrup
1oz cocoa powder
1/4 cup sweetener
Spray Light
Topping:
I don’t add my topping to the whole cake, just do it per slice ¼ of the cake as you have it.
2 tablespoons of Quark
1 teaspoon of sweetener
½ teaspoon of vanilla extract
Fresh Raspberries
Method:
Soak the Scan Bran in boiling water to soften. Drain and mash.
Mix together with the 3 beaten eggs, syrup, cocoa powder and sweetener
Line a round cake tin with foil and spray with spray light
Bake in the oven for 25-30 mins at 190c or 374f
To make the topping, mix up the quark with the sweetener and vanilla extract and spread on top of your slice, add the fresh raspberries to the top.
You can experiment with toppings, such as chocolate spread or quark mixed with option drinking chocolates. But remember this will add more syns to your recipe.
