My FIRST class and a Layout

~Afternoon all,
~How are we all this lovely (albeit cold) November day???? I'm doing ok - still quite sore, my back hurts and I'm waiting to hear back from the insurance department at the bus company. I went to the hospital yesterday about my hip, and I have to have an MRI scan at some point to see how much inflammation there is, if there is alot I will have to have an injection into the muscles in my hip, if there isn't alot then I have to manage it with physio and painkillers, oh and the doctor says maybe some weightloss too - i have gained a bit over the last few months, and especially since the accident because i haven't been able to go swimming..... but after christmas I'll get it back off.

~Speaking of christmas, we are pretty much organised. The decorations are coming out of the attic on Sunday and going up on Tuesday, 1st!!! The other night our living room looked like christmas had come in and threw up all over it - because it's the christmas crop on Saturday and we were getting organised. I won't actually be at the christmas crop this year because I'm going to Rocky Horror - I'm so excited, it'll be great. I'll be back cropping again in January because I'm teaching a class!!!! And speaking of teaching.......

~My first class, Teaching Thursdays - White Space, part 1 , went live today on The Everyday Scrapper. This is the layout I taught..........

~I used Sassafras to create this, and I'm hoping that people will join in. If you go over to the blog, you can join in and there is a chance to win a RAK in January - all you have to do is do 1 of my classes over the next 6 weeks and post it up on the Everyday Scrapper forum. The RAK will be a kit that enables you to create one of the layouts I will be teaching. So come play with us!!!!

~Over on the Everyday Scrapper, the November challenge was to use punches, something that I personally don't use much but I thought I'd have a go and this is what I came up with.......

~I used hand and foot punches, paint, grungeboard and My Mommy and Me Prima papers. I'm actually quite happy with the result of this!! I'm really enjoying scrapping at the moment, and I can't wait to get back to the craft room. Anyway there is a new challenge coming for December, so pop on over and join in, there is a prize available for the winner.

~Anyway that's me, I hope you are all having a fabulous Thanksgiving and have a great weekend everyone!!!! I'll be back next week with Rocky Horror pics and some more layouts - all taken on our nice new Fuji Camera!!!!!!!!! (which incidentally was delivered wrongly yesterday and we got a beard trimmer instead - BUT I went and got the camera this morning)
~love, Vicki xxx
PS - remember you have to be in it to win it........... HERE
