OMG - ACTUAL Layouts!!!

~Hiya all out there is blog-land!!!
~WOW..... I actually got some layouts done, at long last!!! It seems like forever since I've scrapped but I'm really getting back into it and enjoying it again. I am working on a layout just now but I can't share that until January because it's for the Kirkcaldy Crop class I'm teaching..... but so far it's going well and I'm happy with the layout.
~Anyway, here are the layouts I did at the crop on Saturday.......
~This was done using Cherry Arte paper, it's not too over done because I wanted the main focus to be on the photo - obviously with it being my engagement ring!!!!
~This one is of Spot, one of the Zebra's from the Safari Park. I wasn't overly keen on this layout when I first did it, but it's growing on me........ and I love the little close up photo.

~And this one wow...... I wasn't overly sure at first about putting giraffe print paper with gold skullies paper - but I really think it worked quite well. I was fairly pleased with this and I am LOVING cheeseholing - it's lots of fun!!!

~In other news, I went back to college today after the holidays. I have to make some sort of decision about January-June next year but the jury is still out on that and I have a guidance appointment on Thursday to discuss where I go next. I have spent the last little while being torn between careers and what I want to do with my life.... I was thinking Interior Design but as much as I love design and creating things I think I want to keep that for my spare time and I've decided that hairdressing is what I want to do, I get to be creative (with hair not paper), work and spend time with people - which are my favourite things...... except scrapbooking obviously. So I just have to see if I can get in to college next August, and it'll take 3 years to do my training but I am so excited that I will finally be able to get back into work.... the last 5 years have been hard work and I know that the future won't be all plain sailing but with some hard work I think it will all pay off. Anyways back to today............. I made this..........
~This is the first piece of jewellery I have made, and I'm really pleased with it...... we basically took apart lots of costume jewellery and made our own pieces with it. In the coming weeks we are making paper beads so we can make our own entirely handmade jewellery so that'll be fun.

~Lastly Rosie........ we're going to be training her to go out, so she's off to the vet tomorrow to be microchipped and she's got a new purple collar, this photo doesnt' show it but it is very cute! She refused to let me get a photo of it and is thouroughly unamused as you can see from her face!!!
~So that's me for now, I'm off to finish my class layout and write up the ingredients!!! I'll be back soon hopefully with some more layouts or at least something semi-creative.
~Thanks, as always, for stopping by
