Knitting, Beach and Cyber Cropping!!!

~Hiya all!!!
~It's been a good week this week, quite busy with one thing and another. I would like to say I'd spent the whole week scrapping but that would be a LIE!! Heehee. My mojo left but it has returned in time for the Scrap That! Cyber Crop (more further down the page). I've also had a few visits to the beach, because like the rest of the UK, I am really enjoying the hot sunshine - keeps my tan topped up too and I've started knitting again........

~This was my weekly photo for the week, I'm knitting in both wools at the same time and I'm making a scarf for Jay!!! It'll be nice and thick when it's finished. I haven't knitted in ages, but it's one of these things that once you've learned it you dont' forget.

~I took some yummy photos at the beach this week - well I think they are yummy. Here are some of my favourites.........

~From the end of the beach.
~Some cute little sandcastles with pebbles on and.......
~...... a sort of arty shot of some seaweed!!!! well i think so anyway!! lol.

~So starting yesterday and until June 7th, Scrap That are having an online cyber crop over on their forum, which so far I'm loving. There are some fab challenges, some make and takes and lots of chatting. I love cyber crops and I can't wait to see what the rest of the week brings. Here is what I've made already.........

~This was for a scavenger hunt - we had to get red letters, yellow cardstock, something from American crafts, something metal, a purple flower, an animal embellishment, orange ribbon and something with a rooster or chicken on (i made a badge)...........

~........and turn it into a layout.........
~Mine is extremely random but I think it's kind of cute....... the photo screams random to me (it's a boat made out of a bus ticket) and the journalling explains the challenge.

~There were 2 make and takes I've done so far, one was a post it note book and the other was the flower I've used to decorate the book with.........
~I made mine for Jay and used Basic Grey Granola.

~The next 2 are both layouts, for different challenges. The first was a sketch challenge, I flipped the sketch 90 degrees and came out with this..........
~I used Basic Grey Bittersweet and the photo is of me after my haircut in March......

~And the 2nd was a challenge to use NO patterned paper. So I used whitewash coredinations cardstock, paint, tim holtz alpha masks, and the new just chillin' slice cartridge to create this..........

~The photo is my 2 younger sisters, on a night out. I'm not sure what they were laughing at but this picture always makes me smile!!!!

~I also have 2 pieces of good news, one that I will share either on Monday or Tuesday and the other I can share now. I've been commissioned to do 2 pieces of work for someone I know, which as you can imagine, is extremely exciting. I receive some pics next week. I've never done anything like this but she likes my style and I can't wait to work with her.

~I'll be back early next week, thanks for the comments on my last few posts - they are, as always, very welcome and appreciated.

Brilliant beach shots. Can't remember the last time I walked on the sand - must do it again soon.
