Thank You For The Music, Urban Decay and Oh So Serious

~Firstly, before I start waffling about my layouts I need to say a HUGE thank you to Wilma for her input on my Lean on Me layout in my last post, as she inspired me to put wire through the letters. I also need to say a HUGE thank you to Jay, because without her input and advice I wouldn't be the scrapper I am today, also because she gave me the idea for the paper tubes on my Oh So Serious layout (coming later in the post). anyway here are some layouts from yesterday......
~Thank You For The Music
~I used mostly American Crafts for this layout, with a grungeboard swirl, and some basic grey letters. The photo is me before seeing Mamma Mia last year, hence the title!!!
~Urban Decay
~The papers in this are american crafts and unknown shaped cardstock, the buttons are from the smirk range and are sanded and the letters are american crafts thickers also sanded!!! i made a little minibook because i had some smaller photos taken at the same time. the little bit of journalling on the minibook explains the photos.
~Oh So Serious
~I used various scraps of paper for this including dream street and blonde moments. i also used Basic Grey alpha letters from different sets, a handmade flower and some buttons - all studded by wire!!!! The photo is my nephew Oscar, looking so serious but still so cute!!! Again the paper tubes were inspired by Jay!!!! (thanks hun), it's a brilliant technique and i had such fun doing it.

~So that's all the layouts for today, I'll be back in a few days with some more no doubt!!! As ever, thanks for stopping by and thanks for all the superly delicious comments.

Those layouts are so amazing. I love ABBA (and Mamma Mia-the show NOT the movie) so I loved seeing that first layout (and title!). lol My husband got me SingStar ABBA for Christmas last year (PS3 karaoke game) so I've been belting out the ABBA ever since! lol You're right, the paper tubes are fab! It's so nice to have people in our lives that influence us in a great way!
